In progress

We are now withdrawing the DNS routing in the Ashburn, VA region. The Website and API will be redirected shortly as well.

Update

We are still scheduled for the maintenance window in 2 hours, however we have limited the scope this evening to just our Ashburn, VA data center to lessen the overall impact and reduce coordination complexity. This also means we've shortened the maintenance window to a total or 2 hours or less. We're expecting this one to be fairly quick and will withdraw networking and web/api access shortly before the outage.

Scheduled

We will be re-configuring and removing network filtering equipment in all of our network points of presence in order to make way for future network changes. We'll be starting with the Ashburn, VA data center which will cause a short outage of our Website and API. Afterwards, we will redirect traffic for each data center for a period of up to 15 to 20 minutes total while we re-configure each network. Changes to DNS zones will be delayed until all the data centers are upgraded, but DNS service will not be interrupted while this maintenance is performed.
