Update

We are preparing for the upcoming outage window now. Redirector has been failed over to another data center and we will shortly re-route DNS traffic in San Jose. DNS resolution will slow down temporarily in the western United States area as traffic is re-routed elsewhere. SecondaryDNS updates will also not propagate at this time and should resume after the outage window.

Scheduled

Our hosting provider has identified an issue with a network switch in the San Jose data center which requires a software upgrade to resolve. This will require up to 2 hours of downtime while they perform a software upgrade. Before this time we will route DNS traffic away from the San Jose region which will slow down DNS resolution in that area until network access is restored. This will also cause a temporary outage of the Secondary Zone Transfer servers until service is restored.
