In progress
We're preparing to take the San Jose, CA region offline for upgrades. DNS traffic will be re-routed to Tokyo, JP and Chicago, IL once the routing updates. We'll also be upgrading Secondary DNS at this time and zone updates will be delayed until we bring the service back online.

Scheduled
We're going to be upgrading the operating system and re-configuring the name servers in the San Jose, CA datacenter for a period of up to 4 hours. During this time, regional records for San Jose (SV1 Region) will not respond and all DNS traffic in the area will be re-routed to either Chicago, IL (ORD Region) or Tokyo, JP (TKO Region) which will degrade the performance of DNS resolution temporarily. This will also affect our Secondary DNS feature as well so secondary zone updates will be delayed until upgrades are completed. All other services and systems will function normally.
