This incident is now resolved. Zone deployment in our Virginia data center is fully operational and we have restored routing of DNS traffic to that region.

We are currently working with issues affecting our Virginia (IAD) data center. DNS traffic has been automatically re-routed to another region.

Investigating
We have identified an issue with zone updates that being sent to our Virginia data center. Zone updates may take longer than normal to distribute to Virginia, or in some cases not be distributed at all. We are working on identifying the contributing factors and will address them once we have identified them. DNS resolution is not currently affected.
